Final piece ideas
I am slightly unsure about what I would like to produce for my final piece at this stage on the course. However I do know that I would like to add a little bit of a twist to my work. To do this I will be incorporating art and textile techniques into my own photography ideas. I think this will make my final piece more interesting. I have collected some images that attract my attention and have unusual techniques in them. These images are presented on the left. The first idea I like is the one where the photo has lots of different layers and they are all cut in different places and shapes. The second one I am interested in is the picture of the queen. The artist has cut their picture into alot of little circles and then pinned the circles onto a frame using actual pins. I also like the idea of printing one of my images onto foam or plastic and then cutting out every feature individually. After I have cut everything out I will hang the features in the order they are on the face. This will be effective because from the front it will look like a normal image but from the side you will see all the layers and it will be 3D. The final idea I have is alot simplier to the rest. If I was to do this idea I would print seperate parts of my chosen image onto different boxes and then put the boxes together so it looks like one big box picture.
